Existing Home Sales Bounce Back In March across United States: Real Estate Repor

Existing home sales across the United States witnessed a bounce back in March as the sales increased by 5.1 percent during the month. The U.S. real estate sector has witnessed strength over the last few quarters and with interest rates near their record lows, home buyers are ready to sign deals for exciting properties. As per National Association of Realtors report, existing home sales were reported at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 5.33 million.

The sales of previously owned homes in the US rose at the fastest pace since November 2009, in May 2015. This surge comes at the back of an increased demand by the first-time buyers as well as growing momentum in the real estate market.

This May increase comes after an unexpected decline in April. According to a report by the National Association of Realtors, on Monday, closings on existing properties, which happen a month or two after a contract is signed, rose 5.1 percent to a 5.35 million annualized rate.
