Microsoft's Project Spark to go offline on August 12

Microsoft's Project Spark is announced to be no longer available for download through Xbox Marketplace or Windows Store. The online content will not be there for users after August 12. This will prevent users to download or upload any user created content online.

The company announced on Friday that game's download and store has turned offline. The content servers will be turned off by the announced date. The game which was announced free for all last September will no longer serve its users.

Verizon bumps up data limits on two pre-paid smartphone plans

Bigwig US wireless carrier Verizon has revealed in a recent announcement that two of its three pre-paid smartphone plans are being revamped, with bumped up data limits.

According to the announcement, the two pre-paid smartphone plans on which Verizon is increasing the data limit -- with effect from May 15 -- are the $45 per month plan and the $60 per month plan.

Outage affects customers of Time Warner Cable and Cox in NYC, Connecticut, Rhode

New York City Department of Public Service has unveiled that a fiber service provider to Time Warner Cable suffered an outage on its system. Owing to which, more than 750,000 customers in the city were unable to make phone calls or use other telecom services.

The massive outage affected customers of Time Warner Cable as well as of Cox in the New York City area, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. At around 2.45 pm ET, people started reporting service disruptions and the complaints were still coming up, hours later.
