Bangor preparing to host Second Comic & Toy Convention

Fans of comic books, science fiction and video games will get a great opportunity to explore comics and games of their choice at the second annual Bangor Comic & Toy Convention, which is scheduled to take place this weekend.
Last year, roughly 4,000 people visited the convention and hundreds of them were seen dressed up as their favorite comic or game figures.
Organizers of this year’s Bangor Comic & Toy Con are very excited for this weekend’s gathering. They expect the upcoming event to attract up to five thousand fans.
Soubanh Phanthay, an event organizer, said, “The Kids Con portion is going to be spectacular for us to provide that for families. There will be workshops for kids where they get to learn a little bit more about some of the characters that’s going to be there. There will also be face painting…”
Attendees will also be able to enjoy a walk down memory lane with some really popular classic TV shows, such as Star Trek and Doctor Who. They will also get a rare chance to meet some of the stars from the classic shows.
The Bangor Comic & Toy Con is all set to start Friday night this week. Children under the age of 12 year will be able to get into the convention for free. For adults, one-day pass and weekend pass will cost $25 and $35, respectively. VIP pass can be grabbed for $55 per person.
