In contrast to regular videos wherein companies release a host of videos marking the launch of their rockets and satellites, the SpaceX released what can be called a reverse video. It posted a video where it showed the footage of its Falcon 9 rocket re-entering the Earth’s surface.

The Elon Musk's company used a GoPro camera that was affixed onto the Falcon 9 rocket's metal fairing to take video as the rocket re-entered the Earth. The camera captured spectacular shots of the rocket falling back to the earth.

According to a Bloomberg report, electric-vehicle (EV) manufacturer Tesla has reportedly been poaching employees from electronics giant Apple; with nearly 150 employees having reportedly left Apple to join Tesla.

The Bloomberg figures related to ex-Apple employees joining Tesla mark the highest number of employees that Tesla has poached from any other single company thus far. The former Apple employees who have been hired by Tesla include engineers, legal counsels and human resources staffers, among others.

In a recent Twitter post, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said that the electric-vehicle automaker is rolling an over-the-air software update for its Model S P85D all-electric executive sedan to boost the performance of the car, which is already quite a speedster even by gas-powered car standards.

According to Musk's Twitter post, the speed-boosting software update for the P85D sedan - which was unveiled by Tesla in December - will reduce the 0-100km/h sprint time of the car by 0.1 seconds.

During the course of an address at the Automotive News World Congress in Detroit on Tuesday, electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors’ CEO Elon Musk said that his company has plans underway to boost the production of electric cars over the next decade.

Revealing that Tesla had produced less than 40,000 electric cars in 2014, Musk said that the company plans to increase the production to "at least a few million a year" by 2025. Musk also said that Tesla is likely to reach profitability using generally accepted accounting principles by 2020.
