Elon Musk talks about his favorites on "Ask Me Anything" on Reddit

SpaceX and Tesla Motors chief Elon Musk participated in "Ask Me Anything" session on Reddit today. He fielded questions about everything from his love for the Red Planet to video games. He also stated that he will give out details about a Mars transport system "towards the end of this year".

Talking about the Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon space capsule that SpaceX is using to fly for re-supply missions to the International Space Station (ISS), he said, "Good thing we didn't do it sooner, as we have learned a huge amount from Falcon and Dragon".

On Wednesday, December 31, Tesla's billionaire CEO Elon Musk and his British actress wife Talulah Riley officially split again for the second time; filing for divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Musk and Riley first married each other in 2010. They did not have any children, though Musk has five sons from his previous marriage.

It was in 2012 that Musk and Riley split up for the first time. However, within nearly eighteen months of their divorce, romance rekindled between the couple once again, and they got married for the second time in July 2013.

The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has revealed in a recent report that Elon Musk - the billionaire CEO of Tesla and SpaceX - is apparently working on a $1 billion idea which involves a possible launch of 700 different Internet satellites into space.

The Internet satellites which Musk is reportedly plotting to launch will be nearly half the size of the communications satellites which are typically launched in present times. The Internet satellites could potentially be used for the deployment of some kind of Internet connectivity across the world.

Electronic automobile manufacturer Tesla Motors shares jumped about 7% to close at $247 in the extended trading session after it announced its third quarter 2014 results. Tesla Motors designs, manufactures, and sells electric cars and electric vehicle powertrain components.

The car manufacturer sold 7,785 cars in the third quarter, setting a new record for itself despite the factory retooling in July 2014. Tesla Motors said that the company will increase its manufacturing capacity to meet the growing demand.

In a Wednesday night tweet which has apparently set the Internet abuzz, electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla Motors' billionaire CEO Elon Musk has teased the company's mysterious 'D' vehicle.

The tweet, posted by Musk at 6:31 p. m. Pacific time, contained a photo, accompanied by a caption which read: "About time to unveil the D and something else."

The photo in the tweet showed a partially rolled-up garage door, with what looks like a Model S electric car - with the letter 'D' on it - poking out. The vehicle features the Tesla logo, and has the date October 9.
