Auto Show to Display Volkswagen’s Tiguan GTE Active Concept

The 2016 North American International Auto Show going to be held in Detroit this week will put on display Volkswagen’s Tiguan GTE Active Concept. This plug-in hybrid has been developed along the lines of the all-new Tiguan that is slated to be launched in the United States in 2017. The concept SUV is an all-wheel-drive crossover that is equipped with two electric motors and a gasoline engine, along with the capability of going off-road.

On Friday, General Motors Company, an American multinational corporation headquartered in Detroit, has made an announcement that its general counsel, and chief executive office Mary Barra's closest advisers, Michael Millikin, will retire in 2015.

According to the announcement made by the company, it will start soon an external search to replace Michael Millikin. He has held the top legal job at General Motors since 2009. Michael Millikin has a key position in the executive team as the company continues to face legal challenges.
