Men’s Health Week aims to support men to pay more attention to health conditions and particularly stress

Men are quite reluctant to ask for help with their health issues. Starting on June 13, aim of Men’s Health Week is to encourage them to pay more attention to health issues and specifically stress.

The Men’s Health Forum has organized the week, which mentioned in a recent survey that 34% among the ones who responded agreed or strongly agreed to continually feeling stressed or under pressure. In the survey, 9% described themselves as extremely or severely stressed.

Tim Peake to Return to Earth on June 18

British astronaut, Tim Peake, is set to come back to Earth after his ISS mission on coming Saturday. The astronaut will be completing 186 days of stay on the International Space Station (ISS) before returning. Tim Peake will be coming back early morning on June 18, 2016 and will land on the plains of Kazakhstan. The astronaut will be approached to the Baikonur Cosmodrome after parting ways with the Russian spacecraft.

Brain of the fish is much simpler than humans, and the critter doesn’t have any need to possess this feature, but still it can identify a human face, said Cait Newport, first author of the study, in a statement.

After analyzing data, medical experts have come up with findings that chances of beating cancer improve if one is married. They examined 60,000 patients over ten years and discovered that unmarried patients with cancer were 20 percent more likely to die due to the illness than those who were married.

The researchers explained the findings saying that sense of having a spouse gives cancer patient a hope to live for something and they tend to appear more determined to fight the disease.

Premature death is one of the many risks being faced by obese people. A new study has unveiled that weight-loss surgery can remarkably lower the premature death risk among obese people.

Even after five years of the surgery, the death risk was little above 1% and 4% in those in the non-surgery group. The research findings are based on the assessment of almost 49,000 obese people in Sweden.
