Nashville poised to be leader in precision medicine with new federally-funded precision medicine center at VUMC

With the latest federally-funded precision medicine center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC), Nashville is on the verge to become a leader in precision medicine. Vanderbilt University Medical Center is going to get a $71.6 million grant, biggest in the history, from the federal government for the establishment of a data research center as part of an initiative to bring tailored treatment within daily medicine.
