Loaded 9-Millimeter Firearm found in Carry-On Luggage

A loaded 9-millimeter firearm has been found in a man's carry-on luggage by transportation Security Administration officers.

On Monday, police arrested a 36-year-old passenger, who was scheduled to fly from Pittsburgh International Airport to McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.

Denver Police shot Teen who Struck Officer with Car

On Monday, a 16-year-old girl hit and injured a Denver police officer with a stolen car. When the girl drove the car into the officer, the officer shot the girl, who then died. The police didn't identify the girl, but her friends identified her as Jessica Hernandez.

According to the police, an officer was responding to a call for a suspicious vehicle at about 6:30 am. Another officer started chasing the car, which was determined as stolen. The two officers were approaching the vehicle on foot when the driver struck the car into one of the officers.

Cook County authorities unveiled a Schiller Park woman faces attempted murder charges for trying to kill her children by giving them drug-laced apple juice.

Krystle El Khatib, 29, mixed benzodiazepine pills, an anti-anxiety drug, into the apple juice and asked her 9-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter to have two glasses each. When her son refused to have the juice then she allegedly threatened to hit him.

The judge in the court case of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will start questioning prospective jurors as the second phase of jury selection begins. Judge George O'Toole Jr. looks forward to individually question about 40 prospective jurors each day until enough people qualify to move to the final phase of jury selection.

Over 1,350 people filled lengthy juror questionnaires last week and many were expected to be exempted on the basis of their responses, however until now, the court has not revealed that number.

Three grade four girl students have been suspended from their school as they planned to kill their teacher. These girls from Elba Elementary School knew that the teacher was allergic to anti-bacterial hand sanitizer and did not allow the item in the class.

The girls made a plan to spread the sanitizer on many things with an intention that their teacher would touch them and die. They shared this plan with other classmates as well.

April Rollison, a 31-year-old drug addict from Florida died after a week she was brought to the hospital to have a glass pipe and a bottle of crack cocaine removed from her vagina. On December 16, she was arrested with three men on drug charges in the nearby suburb of Babson Park.

After her arrest she was taken to Polk County Jail’s booking room where a body scan was conducted. The scan alerted deputies that there is a pipe and a prescription bottle containing 2 grams of crack cocaine and cocaine powder inside her vagina.

A German Shepherd named ‘Noah’ saved the life of a child in a road rage gunfire incident in Atlanta. According to a report published in Atlanta-Journal Constitution, an eyewitness informed that the dog saved life of the child by jumping in front of a group of children who could have suffered during the gunfire.

Hobart Austin had an argument with the driver of a Ford Taurus. The gunman followed him to a strip mall on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard.
